I love the shade of blue! I've been asked a lot about this, too, but this dress isn't smocked; the design on the bust is just embroidery, not elastic smocking. There isn't really any stretch to this dress, and I found it to be a more snug true to size L. You could consider going one size up from your regular zippered size or stick with your standard size for a more snug fit

This dress is a lovely cool shade of blue, perhaps with a hint of periwinkle, and I absolutely love it! Very floaty and pretty, awesome twirly skirt. I love the little white swirls and scallops on the dainty flutter sleeves. I kept this dress hanging up in my room for weeks just to admire it. It reminds me somewhat of a dirndl in the cutest way possible. I love the modest neckline and sleeves. My husband loves seeing me in these delicate, feminine dresses. The medium was a little large on waist and slightly large on bust. This one didn’t come with the “do not remove” label, so I didn’t try to exchange, and it mostly fits well.
